About Carlmont DECA

Carlmont DECA offers a wide range of business opportunities for students. Regardless of their enrollment in the marketing pathway, all students are welcome to join weekly after-school workshops every Tuesday in T10. During these workshops, students will explore various business topics, engage in skill-building activities, and gain a practical understanding of business concepts. Moreover, all students will have access to valuable professional experiences, including field trips to local businesses and guest talks by local industry professionals.

Practice Makes Perfect

Real improvement comes from continuous practice! Concepts and skills taught in the Marketing Pathway are supplemented by weekly workshops, along with professional opportunities and mock conferences in order to prepare for competition. Here, students will have the opportunity to work with and get one-on-one feedback from individuals who have succeeded at DECA competition. As a result, we highly encourage students to attend our after school workshops.

Workshops are held every Tuesday after school from 4:00 – 5:00 in Room T10. If you can’t make it to the workshops for some reason (i.e. due to an after school sport), please reach out to us and we’ll do our best to work with you.
